[THIN] Citrix servers and Antivirus software

guys,
since the citrix servers are locked down and users don't save anything on these
servers is an antivirus software really needed on these servers?? won't it slow
it down??
if it is recommended that an anti virus software be installed which package is
the best or has the least issues??
please recommend and comment.
