I have written a cleanup script that deletes old autosaves at logoff (old
than X days). This allows the users the autosave experience without
loading their profiles with crud. Redirecting to a shared location does
not allow the feature to function correctly.

Hi
Currently using Citrix User Profiles and everything works fine.
Environment is Windows 2008, XenApp 6.5 and Office 2010. In GPO setting
“Exclusion list – directories” I have the following:
Videos
AppData\Local
Contacts
Searches
Downloads
Music
Pictures
Saved Games
AppData\LocalLow\Adobe
AppData\LocalLow\Microsoft
AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache
AppData\LocalLow\Temp
AppData\Roaming\SSH
AppData\Roaming\ICAClient
AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
I have an issue where Excel 2010 autosave documents are filling up my
Citrix profiles.
I need to add the following folder to the folder exclusion list:
AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel
But I need to include the following file which is for toolbars
AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\Excel*.xlb
If I go to GPO setting “Files to synchronise” it lists the folders in the
exclusion list setting. If I add the *.xlb path it gets added into the
same list as “Exclusion list – directories”. Therefore both GPO settings
appear to be pointing to the same folder/file list.. Am I doing something
wrong? How can I exclude a folder but include 1 file in the same directory?
Alternatively, is there a way to redirect Office 2010 autosave to C:\temp
on the citrix servers via a GPO? How do people get around this issue?
Thanks
Angela
