Lee, Printing hasen't been a problem for us to date. We have 10 PVCs (one PVC for each of 10 remote offices). All total, the users generate around 350 to 400 print jobs per day with peaks on the calendar quarter of around 1000 to 1100 print jobs per day (at that time, my active Citrix sessions increase from roughly 225 concurrent sessions to 280 concurrent sessions). Here are some numbers from today's activity. The number of users is based on an average number of concurrent Citrix sessions and the Kbps is an average bandwidth utilization collected using MRTG v2.9.29. To me, this is representative of how efficient ICA really is. According to this, I could support all my offices with a good dialup modem between sites! (Not!) Anyway, I hope this helps. 29 users averaging 32Kbps 12 users averaging 8Kbps 18 users averaging 16Kbps 22 users averaging 38Kbps 32 users averaging 32Kbps 12 users averaging 16Kbps 36 users averaging 32Kbps 26 users averaging 32Kbps 9 users averaging 16Kbps 28 users averaging 32Kbps -----Original Message----- From: Eilers, Lee [mailto:lee4@xxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, September 27, 2004 4:11 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Citrix Over A Frame / Latent Network What about print job bandwidth? _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Armstrong, Robert Sent: Monday, September 27, 2004 4:08 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Citrix Over A Frame / Latent Network Jason, We serve MF publications to 300+ users nationwide over an AT&T frame relay network. WAN port sizes range from 128K CIR to 1.5Mb CIR. We have had great success and no problems with ICA communications relating to network latency. Regards, Rob -----Original Message----- From: Jason A. Is this true or was this true with older versions? Thank You. I do not have much more detail other than someone's observations.
