[THIN] Citrix Client Issue

I'm having a Citrix client issue I haven't seen before.
I can configure a custom connection just fine, but when I try to run
it, I get the client help screen, followed by a Error 1000: [No Error
Text Available]
File associations appear to be correct, I tried first upgrading the
client to the new 8.0 client, then I tried uninstalling, manually making
sure all references to the program were gone from the H/D and the
registry, and then reinstalling 8.0, and that didn't work either.
Anybody out there who's seen this, or who even has something else to
check?
