What does your event log say, there should be some further details in there.
I had issues similar to this with an upgrade of MF 1.8 to XP from the origi=
nal source CDs. The only common ground is Win2k SP3, I was using an SQL 2k=
DB. There were some error messages, "IMA Service failed to start" in the =
event log which gave an error number, I looked this up on support.citrix.co=
m but got nowhere as several error existed but not mine.
Good luck
Tim

Subject: [THIN] Cannot install FR3...
... on a second server.
Config =3D3D W2K Server SP3 + FR3 installed on a first server. Data store =
=3D
is
on an Oracle 8.1.7 db, on another Windows 2000 server.
All is running fine BUT I can't add another server in the farm. The
following error arises at the end of the install and after clicking OK
the product auto-uninstalls by himself.
Error copied from event viewer :
Source : MsiInstaller
EventID : 10005
Product: Citrix MetaFrame XP Server for Windows with Feature Release 3
-- Error 26005. Could not start IMA Service in
CTX_MF_IMA_StartIMAService State =3D3D 1
Any idea ?=3D20
MSI 2.0 and w2k sp3 are installed.
Thanks,
Elio
