I have done this with a similar program in the past when using Spartacom
Modem Pooling for Terminal Services (www.spartacom.com). In this case, =
there
is only a single COM port which load balances to any number of modems.
Therefore the program only sees, for example, COM3 and thinks there is =
one
modem available and only polls that modem. This happens each time it
launches up until you utilize all of your modems concurrently.

Don't know of a way to do it without such a product....

Subject: [THIN] Anyone using Procomm Plus?

For a variety or reasons I'm using Procomm Plus 4.8 on a MF XP/Win2k =
server.
The server has a PRI with 23 modems in it. Each time Procomm loads it =
has
to detect the capabilities of each modem (actually only the first nine, =
it
can't handle more than that). Needless to say this takes
-forever- and all I really need it to see is the software modem driver =
that
picks a free channel. Any clues on how to force Procomm to see this?

Thanks,
Aaron
