I've used GenControl and had an issue on 2 separate Win2003 servers where
the console's username and password fields have been greyed out after using
GenControl to remotely access the system. It was fixed after a reboot.
There was a Microsoft knowledgebase article I found only a few days ago but
I can't find it now.
No issues on Win2000 or WinXP.
When replying, I assumed you meant to access the TS, not to access the
console. If you need to use the console on a 2k ts, I'd recommend using
GenControl (http://www.gensortium.com/products/gencontrol.html) which I have
used recently - and it works *VERY* well. It uses an embedded VNC Server and
client which it installs and launches on the server, then launches the
client on your machine once the service is up. When you disconnect, it stops
and removes the service, then deletes the files it puts there.

The console option doesn't work with 2000 does it? Last I saw, this was a 2003 only feature.

We need the -console option so need to install this.
Anyone seen any issues with it?
Thanks, Ant.
