The toolbar is a Browser Helper Object (BHO) You could get PC Mags bhocop
or the free bhodemon at
http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm
<http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm> and disable it.

I believe adobes BHO in the registry is here:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Settings\{0
6849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3}]
"Flags"=dword:00000001

Windows XP SP2 will have a BHO help integrated into IE so that you can
disable BHO's, a welcome addition.

Apologies, I've just found the IE5.5 ADM template on Jim's download area!

I'd still like to hear about anyone's experiences with the Adobe Acrobat
Toolbar.

All the best,
Scott

Morning Guys, (well its morning here for me!)

Having a bit of a problem with IE and Adobe Acrobat. I want to disable the
Acrobat Reader toolbar in Internet Explorer. I'm using IE5.5 and Acrobat
Reader 5.

From looking at the Adobe forums it seems that this involves editing Adobes
JavaScript, however this authoring function isn't available from within
Acrobat Reader. Does anyone have any ADM templates I could apply to the user
accounts that would lock this down. Any suggestions on securing this would
be very welcome!

All the best,
Scott
