I'm not sure what build it is. I'll give the BDE reinstall a shot and if
that doesn't work I'll get support on the phone again. Thanks!

What build of AS/PC is your customer running? I deal with an office
that
uses AS/PC as well on NT4TSE with Metaframe 1.8. In the last 4 years
that
I've been dealing with them it's always been a headache. I've never
seen
this error before, maybe try and reinstall the BDE? I would try their
tech
support again. They're hard to deal with sometimes and really don't
think
"outside the box" very well, but I've found that if you're persistent
you
can usually get results. Try troubleshooting the error with them
assuming
it's on a standard workstation.

I have a customer that receives errors in a 16 bit app that uses =
Borland. The error is:=20

Database engine initialization error
Permission denied

This occurs after several users (between 5-7) have it open. It continues
=
to work okay for whoever had it open already, however no new request to
=
open the app will work. The app is called ASPC. Have any of you run into
=
something like this before? Do you have any suggestions? The vendor just
=
said "We don't know, but we do support the app in a TS/Citrix =
environment".=20

Thanks,
