[THIN] Re: 5250 Emulator

Actually, the terminal emulation likely depends upon firmware version, not
hardware version. I just checked the 369.20 firmware and it includes 5250
terminal emulation, as well as the 289.14, which is the really old 3350
firmware. I also tested "auto-start" of a published app AND the 5250
terminal emulation and it seemed to work fine. We actually do a
"multiple-auto start" for all our club front desk terminals. They start
VT-100 terminal emulation and a published app and just Ctrl-Alt-Up arrow or
down arrow between apps.

HTH,

rob

The 3360SE does I know, BUT you have to start the terminal in that mode
exclusively.

Don't some of the Wyse terminals have 5250 emulation built in?

Hi all,
Now we are using Client Access for 5250 emulation, but it takes a lot of

memory,

Does anybody knows any other one? and freeware if it's posible.

Thanks.
