[THIN] 2003 Domain unavailable

I have setup a test network for 2003 with a Domain controller and a test
machine. When I try to login to the domain I get an error that states "The
system cannot log you on now because the domain is not available"
The server is part of the domain. And I login with testuser@xxxxxxxxxxx
When I check the server it is part of the domain.test domain Any ideas?
The domain controller is running
