Hi all I made a quick stop at Frontera this morning before work looking for migrants, and was pleased to hear and then see the female plumaged Crimson-collared Grosbeak on the trail by the maintenence shed. Migrants included a skonking Scarlet Tanager, a lingering Spotted Towhee, and a smattering of vireos and warblers. A few Broad-wingeds spent the night in the trees there, and a Mississippi Kite was just getting up as I left.
