Good afternoon birders,
It was a cold, windy morning in the Valley, and the birds were
hunkered down. During a very short birdwalk, we saw several Red-winged
Blackbirds, a Kiskadee, several Chachalacas, two Blue-gray Gnatcatchers and two
Orange-crowned Warblers. It didn't seem to be a day fit for man or beast.
HOWEVER, warmer weather will return and so will the birds. Walks are held each
morning at 8:30 am.
