For local folks, I walked around parts of Elgin this morning searching for
Purple Finches etc. in vain, of course, but did have a nice White-breasted
Nuthatch on W. 8th just N of Ave. A.. Also had my largest flock of Am.
Goldfinches to date this season...45-50.
How many species did the TOS gathering gather?
