Visiting Warbler Woods Bird Sanctuary Visit 2013 Visiting Warbler Woods Bird Sanctuary is very easy, just email me and if I don't know you, introduce yourself and I'll send you directions for getting through the gate. Text message work well and if you still forget to do these things, you can call from the gate to get in. I'm very responsive to my messages unless at a dr., in the shower, playing bridge or seeing an exciting bird! UNLESS YOU ARE MY HUSBAND, KIDS, DOG, ETC., DON'T SHOW UP W/O LETTING ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME, i.e. entering the gate w/o permission. I keep having people thinking that having a code allows visits wo letting me know!!! I want to know what the dogs are barking at! Let me know the day and approximate time when making your arrangements--lessens the number of emails I have to handle. I have >200 emails/day during migration to take care of. If with a group, you need to make arrangements/reservations for your group. There are still some prime times available during migration. Our prime migration is the last week of April and first 10 days of May. I expect things to be early this year, but that is my guess. During primetime, there are more rules in place to allow more enjoyment of more people. Park efficiently in the parking lot that is on the left fork in the driveway. Please sign in and leave a list of what you find, unless you let me know you aren't comfortable in ID'ing the birds. Please put numbers in your checklist and leave it BEFORE you leave. Please note if you EBird your own data, otherwise, I will enter yours in a list with other checklists. Call me if you find an exciting bird or even better, text me the info and if you find something not on our checklist, let me know, most exciting to add a new bird! Overflow parking on the other side of Old Wiederstein Rd. Don't block my circle drive or garage. We have high-clearance golf carts for those that can't get around, but please realize that you will be responsible for any repair costs to damage while you are using it. These are only to be used on the paths. Let me know if you want to reserve one and don't take one w/o permission since it might be promised out already. No muddy feet in the garage and please only enter from the back side of the garage to save my cars from scratches. If we don't have the Port-a-pottie, which cost $150/month, don't enter the garage with muddy and take your shoes off. Please get rid of the mud clods before entering the paths in the backyard. 2013 checklist here 2013 Checklist 2013 Trail map here 2013 WW Trail Map We had a Barn Owl calling tonight!
