This past Wednesday morning, hawkwatcher Erik Brunkhe drove from McAllen to
Corpus Christi and clicked over 640 scissor-tails on the trip. No little
black-and-white ones, though.....

The no.s of the above along the western Red River and in Throckmorton and
Clay Co.s the past 2 days has been Quite impressive for so late in the
season. Still plenty in S. Okla, well north of border in the Arbuckles.
