The transitional-plumaged, male Broad-billed Hummingbird showed briefly at
about 3:00 pm Friday afternoon. It was feeding for approx. 2 minutes in the
shrimp plants along the southeastern fenceline of Russ Pitman Park. We waited
and watched for an additional 30 minutes, but could not relocate the bird.

Also seen was a full adult male Calliope for about 5 minutes at 3:15pm in the
shrimp plants more central to the park.

Hi Texbirders,
The shrimp plants where I saw the Broad-billed Hummer this morning are near the
Northwest corner of Russ Pitman Park (not the sw corner).
Apologies.
I hope someone else is able to relocate this bird.
