Water is flowing into the resaca as I write and that will have the ducks
moving around a little. The best variety has been in the first and second
bridge area. Perhaps the Hooded Merganser will decide to relocate to a
more visible spot from its current remote hideout.
The south end of the park is where the raptors and wading birds were seen
this morning. The water level will not be changing in the Hunter's
Lane resaca so this should still be the place for Solitary Sandpipers.

Today's Bewick's Wren was on Quail Loop. It's always an interesting trail,
but if you don't want to walk that far Mesquite Trail is also a good one
for wrens.

Black-throated Gray Warbler is not on today's list but is still found
regularly in the trees around the parking islands.
