My Saturday Bird Walk post went out yesterday missing the first sentence or
so.  Thanks to those who let me know.  Saturday was my last bird walk of
the season, which was the missing information.  Dick and I are be heading
north for a few months.  Walks will continue weekly through April.
Beginning in May and through August the walks will be the 1st and 3rd
Saturday of each month.
Franklin's Gulls and White Pelicans were overhead this morning.  Another
pair of Altamira Orioles is building near the Visitor Center.

Bird Walks every Saturday - 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - every 1st & 3rd

Night Hikes every Friday (must RSVP by 5:00 p.m. Thurs)  - small fee
Nature Tram Rides - Wednesday thru Sunday

DIRECTIONS:  The main entrance to Resaca de la Palma State Park is located
on New Carmen Blvd. From Expressway 77/83, exit at Olmito, take FM 1732,
follow for 2.5 miles; turn left at New Carmen Road; follow for 1.5 miles;
shortly after the gravel hump in the road, turn left to enter the park.
