Today- I've heard and seen a red-breasted nuthatch in my yard twice. I don't
see them in my yard every winter and this sighting seems early. I'm trying for
a photo.
Also seen today in my yard, large flock of yellow-rump warblers, several
ruby-crowned kinglets, brown thrasher.
Best of all, for me, while trying to photo the rbnu, a pileated flew in, so I
got a photo of it.
