This is weird because Sunday evening about 7 p.m. I was on the west side of
Alpine watching a Prairie Falcon and heard distinctly an Eastern Screech Owl
call. I was so surprised - I waited to see if it called again which it didn't
or I couldn't hear it. I was surrounded by private property so couldn't try to
find it. Maybe it was the same one just a little further east, heading home!
