I hadn't been in a few weeks, and the spring changes were widespread. First, no Kestrel across the street. Scissor-tailed Flycatchers, Barn/Cliff/Cave Swallows, Gnatcatchers, and Chimney Swifts were the newcomers. Still a Ruby-crowned Kinglet and few small flocks of Waxwings, Yellow-rumps, and ducks. The ducks were in the pond between holes two and six, including Wigeon, Shoveler, Redhead, and some skittish Blue-winged Teals. There was a Yellow-crowned Night-Heron out in the open below the third tee box. The entrance is across from Mueller on Manor Road. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S13634062 Elliott Gordon AF5HH NW Austin Edit your Freelists account settings for TEXBIRDS at //www.freelists.org/list/texbirds Reposting of traffic from TEXBIRDS is prohibited without seeking permission from the List Owner
