Just an addendum to this message, we also found a very healthy looking
white phase snow goose hanging around the park in Liberty. Does anyone know
how long this bird has been around? We were guessing that perhaps it had
been injured at some point in the past and didn't embark on migration
(seems fine at the moment). Either way, seeing a snow goose in May was a
bit odd
