As some of you may know, the Halloween bird walks at Kleb Woods are always a
treat (or a trick, depending on which jelly bean you pick)! As we see a bird
species on this walk the participants must identify it by its special Halloween
name or else pick a jelly bean from Kendra's bag. You have to experience this
to get the full flavor of the day.
Recent sightings include Northern Trickers, Haunted House Wrens, Brown
Slashers, and Eastern Phobias.
We hope you will join us for the bird walk on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from
8:30 - 11 a.m.
If you would like a copy of the list, just email me and I will send you a pdf
file so you can learn and practice.
Also, we still haven't found the perfect Halloween name for Hermit Thrush.
Suggestions are welcome!
