Another rainy day, but not hard pounding rain and no wind so some of the
smaller birds were more cooperative today. Cassin's Sparrow singing and
skylarking made them easy to find and see. Savannah Sparrow are still
plentiful. We found 2 Grasshopper Sparrows, too. Ducks are still around,
just smaller groups. Large numbers of White Ibis flying overhead.
Only 1 Aplomado Falcon today, near Tower Gate but not on nest platform.
A real treat was 3 Groove-billed Ani on the entrance road as we returned
about noon.
