A nice start to April this morning at Edith L Moore Nature Sanctuary. Plenty of migrants were making themselves apparent by mid morning. One of the more amusing sightings this morning was a Tufted Titmouse standing on the back of a sleeping Raccoon and enthusiastically pulling out a good deal of fur. Thanks to those birders who made it out this morning, hope to see more of you next week. More information on the Monday and Wednesday bird walks can be found on Houston Audubon's website.
