Today I birded Hazel Bazemore Park, Pollywog Ponds, Port Aransas, and the
Aransas NWR. Here are the highlights-
Painted Redstart- Aransas NWR
Black Scoter (12)- Aransas NWR
Surf Scoter (3)- 2 at Aransas NWR, 1 off the Corpus Christi Causeway Bridge
Red-Headed Woodpecker- Aransas NWR
Northern Flicker- Pollywog Ponds
Canada Goose- Aransas NWR
Burrowing Owl- Near Aransas NWR
Virginia Rail (2)- Port Aransas Birding Center
Least Bittern- Port Aransas Birding Center
Lesser Black-Backed Gull- Beach between Port Aransas and Corpus Christi
