Good Morning, We had a pleasant bird walk this morning with a nice variety of birds. We started by looking at a few hummingbird species buzzing around the Turk's Cap in the Headquarters Gardens. On the way to the Resaca, we had a tree with a Couch's Kingbird, Golden-fronted Woodpecker, White-winged Dove, and a Great Kiskadee! What a show! Strolling down the Kiskadee trail, we had a great look at an Eastern Screech Owl, a few other birds moving through the trees, and a Gray Hawk calling from somewhere inside the park. Lastly, we finished up at the Green Jay blind watching the Great Kiskadees and Green Jays coming to the water.
