[texbirds] Bandera raven and duck species questions

Two things.....
Can any one shed light on distribution of Common and Chihuahuan Ravens in
Bandera area? I have had several what sounds and looks like Chihuahuan now.
And a bunch of what sounds like Common. Both should be here?
Also, this afternoon i had two ducks fly over the house. First gut feeling...
Mottled. Did not get binos on them, but got good looks and they had all the
right looks, size, flight, for Mottled. Living in the RGV for decades I am
used
to seeing them in flight every day there. As I understand it, that would be
rare here? Any comments?
