Thank you for joining the 2006 Star-Hunting Party - Get ready for next year's campaign, March 8 - 21, 2007!!

Students, families and citizen-scientists from around the world participated in this international campaign on March 22-31, 2006 to observe and record the magnitude of visible stars as a means of measuring light pollution in a given location. Over 18,000* people from 96 countries on all continents (except Antarctica) reported 4591 nighttime observations!
