Anyone have the info on "the bag of LED's"?? I want to order some!
Not long ago someone on the group here posted info on purchase of a "bag of
LED's" at a bargin. I think I remember it said that they worked well to
replace the expensive center funai VCR LED's.
I was putting an order together and just finished a (Zenith) funai 13" TVCR
combo and needed to order some more center LED's and thought that was a
bargin.
The Tip in WinTips below fixed problem:
D511 center led output adequate to operate tape end sensors but too weak to
operate reel sensor. Digi Key p/n 160-1029-ND replaces all High output
infrared led's at much lower cost
