[TechAssist] panasonic LCD TC-15DT2 picture flashes bright/washed out B/W

This LCD/DVD chassis# LV1M flashes intermitently to a washed out Black and
white picture and back to normal. It does not apear to be sensitive to
vibration.
Has anyone seen this?
