Phil Thankyou for your rapid response but lcd and plasma screens don't have
yokes. A slipped yoke would not account for inversion of the picture.
Lettering on the screen still reads from left to right but it is backwards.

Not being "cute", but considering the trauma the set sustained, could
the yoke have slipped around 180 degrees?
Look closely.

>Hello All, Interesting symptoms. This set came into our shop to be
dismantled for a cleaning after a house fire. It was working just fine.
After being dismantled, chem cleaned and then re-assembled, we have a
picture that is inverted (upside down), vertical centering is about 1/3 from
the bottom and the writing appears to be reversed. Anyone seen anything like
this? Don't see any accomadation for reversal or inversion of pix. Wondering
whether eeprom corruption might cause this kind of symptom. I'd be an
inquiring mind if I knew what questions to ask HELP !!!!!
