John, just sent the schem to you. Also working on a Sony that had no sound
,no pix and when you turned it on, would make a thumping or motorboating
sound, b+ read low, found audio o/p ic at fault. Peter Kowalik

Actually, I have one that is No sound, no picture, with a motorboating
symptom. I was holding off on accepting the repair, till I could get the
manual.
