Albert, Change the vertical IC7401 STV9379FA OEM# 9322 1214 7687. This IC is powered by +11v, -11v from aux p/s & 40v from IHVT. Also two waveforms from IC7250(TDA8844). If R3488(4.7 ohm 1/2w) is open, it will cause the same symptom. DON'T USE A SONY STV9379, IT WILL NOT WORK. It must have the FA extension at the last, if you use a generic. The voltages & waveforms to the IC can be measured with the IC out of the circuit. It will still shut down, but you will get a temporary voltage at the IC pads.(if the supply voltages are working).
