[TechAssist] how to read PDF schematic -blue blocks covering the diagram?

I'm trying to read the schematic for Sony TV model KV24FV10 (downloaded
from memebers page) using Adobe acrobat 6 reader but there are big blue
blocks covering some of the diagram and I can't see through these. I
have checked with the help and I get the feeling these blue blocks are a
separate layer which should be removable if I choose but there is no
info found in the layers tab. What am I doing wrong? or is this
schematic just not correct?
