Check for a shorted diode in the horizontal section. This is a common
fault on computer monitors. It could also be a failed capacitor and
possibly transistor. But check for the diode first.

Subject: [TechAssist] help on Sony monitor GDM-400PS please

Hi
I have a Sony GDM-400PS in the shop that looks like the pincushion went
out.
it is bowed in from the sides and the on screen control does not make it

straighten out at all. I do not have a drawing on this. Is there a
common part (
pincushion output transistor) that fails?
Thanks in advance
