Change the STK's and check the one ohm resistors in front of them.
From Tech Repair CD:
Zenith\50Z83R8 \picture looks like convergence is turned off (which it is) and
is bouncing

to 10 open resulting in no

resistors R3243 (110K) and R3244 (82K) on the 9-1978 module\\\\\\\
Zenith\A56M91W9\Defection bowed top and bottom* convergence out and crosshairs
do not move.\\\Sweep module
9-1978 Registration module 9-1690\Replace both Convergence amps* IC4008 and
IC4009* both STK392-110* and
up to four open 1 ohm 1/2 watt resistors near the IC's* R4060 thru R4063.\All
caps nearby checked ok.
Convergence returned to normal with little adjusting needed.\\\\\\\
Zenith\PVR4660VK\Pix is bowed equally on top* bottom* and sides* and
convergence is bad\\\9-1690
9-1674\Doing a complete convergence alignment on this set* fixed the problem.
The key was to adjust the
Vertical and Horz size pots on the sweep module\by using the green CRT only*
before starting the more
traditional convergence procedure. Once you have a good* straight looking cross
hatch pattern for the
green\it is much easier to go ahead and converge the Red* and the Blue to the
established green pattern.
You have to adjust for a 3 : 4 display on your cross hatch generator.\(3
vertical squares for every 4
horizontal squares ). The actual number of Vert & Horz squares for each signal
generator will vary\Once
you set the main size pots* check a channel that has graphics at the bottom or
top and make sure it is not
being clipped off\\\\
Zenith\PVY4662DT\Convergence way off- no control of convergence\\\9-1690\R4151M
(1k SMD) open off pin 3 of
plug 3C8 on 9-1690 convergence module\\\\\\\\

swps/swp 9-1674 conv 9-1690
Changed bad bleeder assembly A-17196-12. Now set turns on w/ picture but bad
convergence & green is jittery. Unplug green conv.& green picture is steady.
R3243 & R3244 ck. good. I have +26, -26, & +15v to conv. bd. Is there
supposed to be a -15v going to this bd. & if so where? Just want to make
sure I have all supply voltages to the bd. before changing the STK's.
