Thanks Ken,
I found the 3kv finally toward the end of the day at DigiKey. I have to laugh
though
because I haven't order from them much and to try and avoid the $5.00 fee for
orders under
$25.00 I thought I'd get a few things. As I was standing in the shop
unprepared I asked for
a 2sd1880, common HOT, and the kid on the other end said sorry we don't carry
that one. How
about LA7833, no sorry we don't have those either. I rattled through several
common
switching transistors until finally I gave-up and said just charge me the five
bucks. Now I
know why I haven't order from them in a year.

Bill,

I have worked on several of that model needing the same cap. I ordered a
dozen D2KV560PFD from Tritronics at $0.99 each. True, they are 2KV caps,
like the original. They worked and I never had a recall, yet! I had a
hard time even finding that one.

One place I didn't try is DigiKey. You might try them if you don't want
to use the 2KV caps I mentioned.
