The LCD will be dimmer because the lamp shines "thru" the LCD where as the
DLP "reflects" the light energy.

Subject: [TechAssist] Zenith D60WLCD Dim picture, or imagination?

| Hi,
|
| One of the salesmen at the local dealers asked me about this one.
| They have a Zenith LCD model (M# D60WLCD) set up next to a RCA DLP model.
| The LCD looks noticably dimmer.
|
| I'm wondering if this is normal for the DLP sets to be that much better
| looking than the LCD's?
|
| Or, do I have a problem?
