It is time to take out the green eyed monster (Oscilloscope) and look it
straight in the eye.
Is the unit shutting down with or without a load (what kind of load?) on the
speaker terminals? What kind of signal present?
Is there high frequency oscillation above the hearing range at the outputs?
Check your DC offset at the speaker terminals, or at the speaker protection
relay(s).
Insert a known signal and look for distortion. Look for DC offset.
This being a stereo unit, compare the signals. One will most likely give you
what you would expect. The other will have a surprise in store for you.
