I replaced the signal board and crt boards due to customer claiming surge damage( insurance claim). It worked for several weeks then same symptom, green washed out picture. I never got a good response to the symptom on this forum but just comments about how the hyper board was a problem. To answer your question, it was by substitution only because it would start working for a few days after something was done. Hope this helps you save time because it was never something I could track down due to the intermittent nature of the problem.
