Subject: [TechAssist] Toshiba TAC 9621 CE27F15 schematic

TAC9621. The relay clicks on when the pwr button is pressed. The SMPS is
dead and I have changed several parts in same including IC 801, STR-Z2151.
This part was shorted and a piece was blown out of it. A data sheet for
this part would also be of help. I have looked on the SANKEN web site, but
nothing!

> That's the problem with these darn SMPS, if one part is bad the whole
thing doesn't work. No voltages to measure. Or worse yet the whole P/S
blows up like the Sony Q601 and 602 nightmare!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
