Jerry,
I just opened a Toshiba MW27FN1,that is Dead.
The Regulator is Shorted, Q1705 2SK3326,and It's 'emitter' resistor is
open,R1720 .22 ohm.
That's all I've found so far,but I saw this post about your manual.

I'm not sure if it will hold all of your manual,but if you don't mind,I
think it will help me out a lot.
Customer didn't mention Lightning,only that it had "10 lines across the
top" before it went out.
