I'm sure the microprocessor IC is bad, IC QA01 M37274MA-054SP. Pin 30 reset has an internal short to ground pin 26 of about 62 ohms. Ordered it from Tritronics and after waiting about six weeks they sent me a used one that someone pulled from a board and it has the same internal short, I installed it to verify that the set still does not work. Can someone check the micro in a Toshiba set and see if I'm right about this being an internal short? The base generic number on the IC is M37274MA and any chip of this family should read the same ohms pin 26 to pin 30. This is the second time Tritronics has sent an obviously used part, are they picking on me? Thanks for any help. Jim Myers Since 1972 Telrad Electronic Services Co.
