A tip from Tony sounds like this shutdown problem may be related to the micro and there may be a kit including a shield to fix it. I don't have access to Pioneer T/A and the parts dept needs a part number which I don,t have. TIA to anyone who can help. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Tip on SD-P5057 Date: Sat, 06 Mar 2004 09:58:44 -0500 From: Jim Myers <jr.myers@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: tony saracco <tcselectronics@xxxxxxxxx> References: <002001c402cb$14dde6c0$6501a8c0@GATEWAY> Thanks Tony, I'll look into that. ******************************************************************************************************************* Since 1972 Jim Myers Telrad Electronics Fort Wayne, Indiana tony saracco wrote: > Jim, > > I found another tip from Pioneer on your model, shut down every 4 to 5 > hours, change the microprocessor and install static shield ( sorry dont > have part# but you can probably buy as kit from pioneer. > > Tony Saracco > TCS ELECTRONICS > 406 Andra Ct. > Gilberts, IL 60136 > tcselectronics@xxxxxxxxx <mailto:tcselectronics@xxxxxxxxx> -- ******************************************************************************************************************* Since 1972 Jim Myers Telrad Electronics Fort Wayne, Indiana ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lost Password: http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?".
