[TechAssist] Sony dcr-trv250 digital handycam-record problems,

Unit will PLAY pre-recorded tapes in vcr mode.Customer brought several
for
testing.
Using S-Vid out in record mode ( standby) see only dark lines,streaks of
white light no colors.Sound is ok.This is on all outputs EVI-LCD and video
output to a TV.
Customer also said that it was fine when he put it away about three
mo.ago,only uses it 4-5 times a year. Help Sony camera techs!
