[TechAssist] Sony camcorder

DCR-TRV340,no service manual.
records no audio.
playback audio fine.
can heat 'area' of main pcb near the front(microphone pcb) and
audio pops in.
there are 4 SM caps(2 have been replaced) in this area,and
numerous SM IC's and chip components.
Chilling a Qtip applying it to these components hasn't really zero'd
me in on the culprit.
SM IC in this area,

seems the most likely(not too confident though)
Has anyone been down this road with this Camera ???
