The service manual has that tuner listed as TU1002, a BTF-WA402, Sony part# 8-598-254-00, which I dont believe to be plagued with the usual bad connections. It might be best to replace it. Tritronics has it in stock as follows: Item no: 859825400 (SONY) List Price: $98.78 EA Price: $ 77.00 EA TUNER (BTF-WA402) WAS 859825430 INVENTORY AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT Bob Waterman, CET® #RI-28 Master Technician License #9109 Service Manager / Parts Manager Gemini Computer, TV, & Security Alarms (508)695-7302 (508)695-7769 FAX geminitv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx geminitv@xxxxxxx www.geminicomputertvsecurityalarms.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Teltek3" <teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2003 1:50 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Sony R/P KP-46S15 Chassis-SCC-H58B-A > Need some advice here.
