I just checked Sony's parts list and it doesn't list this part number..this tip
may be wrong.

I can't find this resistor anyplace. This set's high voltage lead goes
directly to the crt anode
terminal. Only wires going to the shield arethe degaussing coil and ground
straps that connect to the crt
socket. Would it be under the shield? Neil
